"Maniac" Starring Kid Cudi Directed by Shia LeBeouf

I was just casually browsing Rosewood, Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music blog, like I sometimes do, and I happened across this completely random video. Either Kid Cudi renounced his street cred or Shia managed to get some, because I have no idea how these two would ever get together and collaborate. The video is about two ruthless young men, killing for recreation. It has nothing to do with Kid Cudi's song "Maniac" (which is ballin by the way). It's actually pretty good, usually I wouldn't sit through a 10 minute youtube video. Check it and see what you think:

Giants Vs. Patriots Outlook

The New York Football Giants are set to square off against the New England Patriots this Sunday at 4:15. The Patriots are by far the best team the Gmen will have to play thus far but they are beatable. The Giants have the best pass rush as a collective group in the NFL, which helps out their secondary tremendously. Instead of Tom Brady sitting in the pocket all day and picking apart the defense, Brady will be under pressure all day. This is important because instead of the Gmen Corners having to cover 8-10 seconds, they will only have to cover from 6-8 seconds. This difference in seconds will make Brady get the ball out before he wants to, which will force turnovers. Look at Corey Webster’s last 3 picks, basically great plays on Webster’s part, but the ball was thrown earlier then the QB wanted too because of the pass rush. A major concern for the Giants this week is their running back situation. Since Bradshaw is listed as doubtful, this means Brandon Jacobs (who clearly has lost a step), D.J. Ware, and Der’el Scott will have to step up. D.J. Ware is not a quality NFL back and has his other uses like on special teams. Brandon Jacobs needs to find himself again, like Wild Thing did in Major League 2. He needs to find that bad ass attitude he use to have, that attitude that he knew he could run over any person he wanted too, the “Gmen Balling Swagger”. I know he thinks he’s a finesse back now and likes to dance, but that’s not Jacobs, that’s not why people USE to fear him. Der’el Scott is an interesting rookie running back out of Maryland because he was a victim of the lock out. Scott was unable to show off his true skills during minicamp work outs and activities along those lines because they didn’t happen this off season. Scott ran a 4.34 40 yard dash at the combine, so we know the kid can fly, but can he translate it to the field. Some matchup problems the Giants are going to face against the Patriots is their tight ends. Gronkowski and Hernandez are two physical players for the Pat’s and Brady likes to target his TE’s. If the Pat’s spread the field with their tight ends in, this means a safety is going to have to match up on these guys. Most likely Deion Grant, who is a perfect person for the Pat’s to pick on because he isn’t that good of a player. If the pass rush is strong all game, Brady will make some mistakes and the Giants can win the Turnover Battle. Eli will continue to play strong like he has all year, and the receiving core will be there.

Props to the Front Office of the Giants because they knew Jake Ballard could play enough to let Boss go, and even bigger props for letting Steve Smith go. Although I liked Smith, the Giants knew how bad his injury was going to affect him this season, and now he basically rides the pine on the Eagles. Nice life Smith.

Tomorrow look for big games out of Eli, Manningham, and Boley.

Let’s Go Gmen

JGL At It Again

Joesph Gordon Levitt is hotter in the game than just about any young actor in Hollywood today. From his independent breakout in 500 days of summer, to his blockbuster debut in Inception, and not to mention his casting in the upcoming Dark Knight Rises. What's going on presently? Only acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino on the phone trying to get a piece.

Multiple reports have surfaced that JGL is being pursued for Tarantino's next flick, Django Unchained. A southern slavery piece, Django's cast already includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Sammy L Jackson and Kurt Russel. When Quentin calls, you're pretty fucking established alright.

Side notes:
Q is really liberating people throughout time. First taking down the Nazi's, now on to southern slave owners.
When Q likes an actor he keeps calling, I foresee JGL and Tarantino establishing some serious chemistry, this will not be their last collaboration.
