And the Madden '12 cover is down to...

Last month Fuzzy kicked us some knowledge regarding the 'Madden 2012 coverboy-careerendingcurse-bracket'. Well now the most coveted curse in all of sports gaming is down to two unlikely players. Peyton (no not Manning) Hillis and the 2010 comeback player of the year himself Michael Vick.
VICK
That's right, shortly removed from being the most hated man in all of sports, Vick has a shot to dawn the cover of Football's most prestigious gaming series. After taking over for Mr. Upside Kevin Kolb two games into the season, Vick combined his rare athleticism with a balanced passing approach (and the occasional 90 yard heave to Desean Jackson) to register one of the greatest single-season turn arounds in football history.
HILLIS
And then there's Hillis who going into the 2010 NFL season was virtually unknown. After taking over for fantasy bust Jerome Harrison, Hillis went on to have an MVP season for the Browns and became the universal answer to the age old trivia question, are there any white running backs in the NFL? Fun Fact: Prior to transferring from the University of Arkansas Hillis shared the backfield with current Oakland Raider Darren McFadden and current Dallas Cowboy Felix Jones (talk about a backfield).
PREDICTION
My prediction is Vick. He's gotten this far in the contest, there is obviously some cult internet following that are inflating the votes to land Vick on the cover. I can also predict if Vick comes out on top (Vick also dawned the '04 Madden cover then as an Atlanta Falcon) there will be plenty of media and internet backlash to follow. So pretty much this story is just beginning.

Winner is set to be revealed live on ESPN2's SportsNation April 27th at 4 pm

Could "Bismack Biyombo" Really be the #1 Draft Pick???

Who the fuck is Bismack Biyombo and where did he come from?
The talk of last weekends World Nike Hoop Summit wasn't Austin Rivers or Cody Zeller. Instead an 18 year old 6'7 kid from the Congo stole the spotlight. Standing tall and confident in the lane, sending away layup & dunk attempts, and even throwing a few down; Bismack Biyombo formerly introduced himself to NBA scouts world-wide. This week, DraftExpress moved Biyombo into the top 10, going 6th to the Jazz. Chad Forde, ESPN, even suggests teams looking purely for upside will consider Biyombo with the #1 overall pick. Never before has a kid shot up the boards this late, and if your thinking this is another Ricky Rubio situation..."NBADraftExpress reports Bismack Biyombo has unilaterally terminated his contract with Fuenlabrada (European Club), following several breaches, his agent tells us."

I'm thinking 'Nobody Beats the Bis' or 'Return of the bisMACK'. This kid will be a fan favorite.

Name: Bismack Biyombo
Age: 18
Height: 6'7
Origin: Republic of the Congo
Wingspan: 7'7 (5th longest in records, DRAFTEXPRESS)
Strengths: Shot-Blocking (2.3 bpg), Post Offense, Finishing at the rim
Weaknesses: Passing, No Jump Shot

Avicii vs. Kings of Leon - Abow vs. Sex on Fire

So, new Swedish DJ sensation Avicii aka Tim Bergling aka Tom Hangs has been blowing up of late. Keep in mind this stud was born in September of '89. Some serious talent going on here. He's performing @ Pacha this Saturday, and as much as I'd like to go, I think I may pass out from the stench of girls sweating in a club. But that's besides the fact. I'll let Dirk Diggler and John Locke chip in here because they are both going to see him live in a few weeks out in Madtown. Leaving you here with a serious club banger. Song below is the tits.

Ryan Leslie - "Glory"

As some of you might know, I'm a huge advocate of Ryan Leslie. He's probably my favorite artist/producer. Just love his music and the production of his beats, hooks, etc. This is his first single off of Les Is More, his next album, coming out July 4, 2011. R. Les 4 Prez. Leavin you with some old school Ryan Leslie too. Check it out.

GO NY GO NY GO

Extremely corny video made by Swizz Beatz here. Besides that, it's about 1 hour from tip-off of game 2. I'm still recovering from watching the Knicks take a heartbreaking Loss after spending the whole 4th quarter in a Massachusetts bar with my Amare Stoudamire jersey on just talking shit to Celtics fans. When Ray Allen hit that 3, I almost had to leave. Anyways, with no Chauncey tonight, Carmelo coming off a not-so-clutch 4th quarter performance, and Amare probably still pissed he didn't get the last shot, I'm not sure how confident I am in those New York Knickerbockers tonight. NYK.

Duke Lacrosse Rape Accuser, Now a Murderer

In case you didn't recognize the picture above, that Crystal Mangum (thought it was Magnum at first, huge let down) who falsely accused some Duke lax bros of raping her a few years back when she stripped for them, has been charged with murdering her boyfriend. Now I'm no fan of Duke, between going to NC State and having Gorms as a friend I pretty much hate them. But this kind of vindicates these lax bros doesn't it? Its one thing to win the case in court, but thats not going to convince a lot of people. OJ still did it right? But when your accuser stabs someone to death a couple years later, I think it sort of gives you a little more credit.

When you got your own nephew referring to you as "THE Crystal Mangum", probably not the most trustworthy person.

Mattress Music Mondays

Starting off this Monday with a little 112. Went out with a girl this past Thursday night, making out all night at the club, tearing up the dancefloor while her other friend was craving it too, spending countless dollars on my mom's credit card for Vodka Redbulls (thanks/sorry mom), what more could I ask for? We leave the club and I pick her up from her place, and as 112 put it, "you already know" what the deal was. This broad brought her OWN sweatpants to wear, so at this point I'm thinking I hit this tonight and in the morning. To make a long story short, I got a pointless tugjob that wasn't going anywhere because I was so many drinks deep, and I played the finger-bang game, which didn't do anything for me. The cold streak continues for your boy, "You already know."

Next Jam is from my mans Bobby V. Consistently crushing the slow R&B music scene, Bobby V knows what the deal is. Slow down.

Colorado State Club Baseball Coaches, Legends

After a recent decision by CSU’s Campus Recreation Department, head CSU club baseball coach Mike Abernathy has been suspended for the rest of the season and assistant coach Zac Myslivy has been fired, both for making sexually explicit comments during a spring break confrontation with an umpire in Prescott, Ariz. The incident took place during a March 14 double-header with Yavapai College. The two teams have a history of dispute. In a meeting before the second game, to prevent an altercation Abernathy walked away after presenting the team’s lineup card. Home plate umpire John Schiller said in a report that Abernathy was asked twice to return to the meeting with the warning that he would be ejected if he didn’t comply. The umpire ejected Abernathy. At that point, according to players who witnessed the altercation, the umpire allegedly made remarks about the Rams being a “second rate” team and “classless,” prompting Abernathy to engage in an argument with the official. Schiller reported Abernathy made sexually vulgar remarks to both him and Yavapai head coach Sky Smeltzer. Abernathy was quoted as saying “Both of you umpires have (Smeltzer’s) d**k in your mouths and have c*m dripping down your cheeks,” according to the incident report filled out by Schiller. In an email to CSU, Smeltzer corroborated Schiller’s claim that Abernathy made the explicit comments and also accused the Rams of damaging the locker room they were using after discovering a punched hole in the drywall.

During that same game, after repeated heckling from the crowd, Myslivy allegedly directed sexually explicit comments to a group of Yavapai softball players in attendance, causing his termination. When interviewed, Myslivy admitted to responding to the softball players. “I asked them if they were the (Yavapai baseball) team c*m rag,” Myslivy said. “There were comments that got under my skin along with the situation with the umpires and I said some things I probably shouldn’t have said.”

Ya so bunch of tornadoes rolled through Raleigh yesterday. Three people dead, bunch of people injured. Video is from the dorms I lived in freshman year and where a friend of mine is the RA. Just a mile wide tornado tearing through where I live. The friend of mine who lives there texted me to make sure I was okay because that shit was right near where I live. At one point I swear this tornado was right outside my window, got mad windy out of nowhere.

But anyways, glad to know you guys care enough to see if I'm still alive.

About to get PWNED

The severe thunderstorms that have already claimed 17 lives are set to roll through NC today. Woke up, already windy as hell outside even though its sunny, checked the weather and saw this nice forecast for the day:

Windy with strong thunderstorms likely. Damaging winds, large hail, and possibly a tornado with some storms. High 72F. Winds S at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 70%.

You know, nothing special. Just some damaging winds, some big ass hail, and oh, a "possible" fucking tornado. No biggie, just one of mother nature's most violent occurrences, nothing to worry about. Fuck that! People always complain about how cold it is up north and how they want to live in the south because its warm year round and thats bullshit. I'd rather deal with a little cold for a few months than worry about whether my house is still going to be standing in a couple of hours.

So if I get gobbled up by a tornado today, just wanted to let everyone know I love you all. Wish me luck.

Wheres Helen Hunt when you need her.

With Season 3 of Day Today over, Wiz puts out the Trailer for Season 4. Only 300 views on this bad boy so far. Check it out. Can't go wrong here. Brings up the question, is Wiz Khalifa the biggest artist on the scene right now?

Throwback Thursday

Can't go wrong here. I think this was Rich Boy's only hit song ever. Classic.

Next up is the one and only Lenny Kravitz. Probably the most famous Lenny out there. Either him or Lenny Wilkens. I know Dirk Diggler is going to cream in his pants when he sees this throwback.

$100K An Episode, Jersey Shore Season 4 Confirmed

Why can't I get 100 grand to club for two months on the jersey shore, cause the occasional drama or be in an overly-dramatic relationship. That's right, 1) Jersey Shore Season 4, due to be filmed in Italy, is confirmed. and 2) Entertainment Weekley is reporting that these one-time no names are now making 100 fuckin' k an episode to live the dream. I admittedly watch the Jersey Shore weekly and go on record saying i'd bang Snooki in a heartbeat; but this fathoms even me. Another reasonwhy the Jersey Shore will go down as one of the most influential shows of the 18-25 millenial generation. Regardless if the groundbreaking program is real or fake, these lucky eight (even fuckin' Deena, i mean comon you literally just joined the show) are set for life.

Supermodel-Tayyib Ali

Tayyib Ali is a budding star. Everytime he puts out a song, hes got fresh visuals to boot. This song has that summertime feeling to it. I feel like Tayyib produces music as if he were much older than he is. Speaking of summertime, I've had enough with school at this point. Bout time to see them dimes in bathing suits flaunting their shit.

I Don't Care What They Say-New Boyz ft. Big Sean

The New Boyz and Big Sean go over the Heads Will Roll beat and do a pretty solid job of producing a catchy song. Big Sean stayin consistent with his fresh verses and appearances on songs. "I dooo ittt" Check it.

Mitt Romney forms presidential exploratory committee

Well folks, its getting close to that time again. Primary season is coming up and Republican candidates are begining to step forward and set their sites on the White House. This time last election cycle nearly every candidate had already stepped forward. It seems this time around, republicans are a bit more hesitant, and afraid to step into the ring with Obama. Well today, Mitt Romney revealed he thinks he's got what it takes. The former Massachusets Govenor claims to be the candidate with the most economic experience, which seems to be the most important issue to voters, making him a serious contender. I think he could easily take the republican nomination, he's got economic experience and I mean just look at him, He's got that presidential look. Romney however happens to be Mormon, which is a very controverisal part of this candidates story. Romney joins Tim Pawlenty and Michelle Bachman as the few Republicans who have taken the next step towards running for president in 2012. Other republican candidates to looks out for are Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich, as well as media whores Donald Trump and Sarah Palin. Whoever recieves the republican nomination will have a very difficult task ahead of them, as Obama has relativly high favorability ratings, and it doesnt hurt that he could likely be running the first billion dollar re-election campaign.

Miguel coming with a real sexy song on this 1. His last song, All I want is you, was a huge radio hit and was very popular. I see the same for this song in the future. I also see myself smushing to this in the future. Miguel kinda reminds me of Usher, not sure why. Peep.

Speaking of artists that remind me of Usher, you have to throw Chris Brown in the mix. Despite his
frequent anger towards Rihanna, I really like CBreezy's music. Seems like everything he touches is eventually hot one way or another. I know for a fact that girls get really hot and bothered by his music because I've been down that alley before. This song, "Take You Down" is another one that makes the love making list. Just seems natural. Plus, you got the Live version of this song, check out some of those moves.

Throwback Thursday

First of all, I apologize to all the ladies that sit on the computer on Thursday's and wait for me to post my 2 throwback songs. I was a lil too busy yesterday, so my apologies again.

Song is the tits. Back when I was in my younger pimpin' days I totally envisioned myself going up to a broad and tellin her I could make her a celebrity overnight. Seeing that chick with the fat cake, and just letting her know. Bottomline is, we're having a party tonight, Dr. Shaku will be in the building, and we're finding some chicks to tag team....and make em overnight celebrities.

Classic song. When is the last time you heard this?

Wolfpack Falls Short of Signing Shaka

Now I'm not as big of a basketball fan as most of the other guys on here, but my boy Pantydropper had me pumped for NC State bball this year telling me how we were going to be pretty good with some sick new recruits. Ya. Right. 15-16 and missing out on the NIT isn't exactly a blockbuster year. I'll never understand how you can be a big school and not get invited to one of the tournaments, like a third of the teams go. So if you got 30,000+ people going to your school, failing to get the NIT nod is pretty pathetic.

It was pretty obvious Sid the Kid and his fresh red jacket had to go, and go he went. Apparently the Wolfpack went after VCU's Shaka Smart, but to put a stamp on an already shitty year, Shaka turned down the offer to stay at VCU. That video is the reason why VCU went so far this year. Kids want to play for a coach like that. I would have loved for this guy to come to State, BUT I'm kind of happy he stayed at VCU. Guys a Ram through and through and you gotta respect that. I hate it when people sell out, so its always good to see a story like this where a guy who would be getting tons of high quality offers from big schools decides to stay at the small program and create his own tradition.

Now on to the the title game tonight. Anyone check out the bracket group we got on ESPN lately? Whats that? The Legend of Hellman is in first? Thats right bitches. Its all down to me and The Dreamweaver. I had Kansas winning it all, he has UCONN. They win, he wins, Butler wins, Fuzzy takes it home. Its a shame we didn't have money on this, so I'll just have to settle for the pride. Butler winning BIG tonight. You're my boy Blue II! You're my boy!

Yankee Notes On Opening Series

THE POSITIVE
First things first, about time Mark Teixeira had a hot start in April. The dude is notorious for struggling through the first month and a half of the season, usually batting .200, and hitting like 1 home run. Mark has hit a homer in every game the Yanks' played so far. Granderson is also off to a good start at the plate and in the field. Granderson has showed off his glove, making some "Top 10" diving plays, and connected with a his first Homer on opening day, which turned out to be the game winning home run. New comers Russell Martin and Rafael Soriano also have done their part. Russell Martin, an under the radar signing this off season, has played well in the first 3 games, showing some speed and power. Soriano has displayed the lights out stuff we all saw last year, which must put fear into the heart of many in the American league. If the Yanks' get to the 8th inning with the lead, its practically an auto win. Other positive notes, Joba Chamberlin looked good in his first outing, locking down the 7th inning in the Yanks' first win. If Joba can reinvent himself this season the Yankee's bullpen may be the best in the MLB. Jeter should have a bounce back year as he closes in on 3,000 hits, and the ageless wonder Mariano Rivera continues to be the back bone of the Yankees. Posada,, adjusting to his new role as DH, seemed uncomfortable not being behind the plate at first. But in the Yankee's last game 'Georgie Juiced' 2 dingers leading me to believe he's starting to become acclimated with his new role. Can't Forget about A-Rod, who came into Spring Training healthy and in great shape. He's back in that 2007 MVP form. My prediction for A-Rod's 2011 season numbers: .303, 35 home runs, 112RBI's, nothing Alex can't handle. Cano and Swisher appear to be in good position to post similar numbers as last year. And as always Jon Sterling is in mid-season form already, coining the term "The Grandy-Man Can" on Grandersons game winning HR Thursday.

THE NEGATIVE
On the negative side; outside of CC and the bulpen the pitching staff looks shaky already. This was a question mark coming into the season but hopefully the 'Big Three' can get it together, and help the Yanks' capture another division title. Phil Hughes topped out at 90MPH on the gun, about 6 MPH slower then he was throwing 2 years ago when he came up to the Big League. Although the season is very young, Phil's lack of velocity and an out pitch remains a legitimate concern. Phil needs to get some bull pen sessions lined up to work out some of his early season kinks.

Overall? Not a bad opening series for the Yanks. The bats are alive, the pitching will come soon.

PS. any one see Mariano's New high sock style-love it.

Mattress Music Mondays

Hard to be more straight forward than this song. Akon plain and simple tells girls he wants to fuck. Don't you wish it was that easy? Just go up to a girl and tell her you wanna fuck. I think I may put this in action tomorrow night to tell the truth. On a little cold spell, this has gotta be the answer right? Anyways, I've def smushed to this song in the past, it's best when the girl is on top, jus sayin.

Not gonna lie here. The Dream is one of my favorite R&B artists out there. Consistently puts out hits. Never smushed to this song, but I can't imagine the fireworks that would go off during this. And by fireworks I'm not sure what I mean. Nevertheless, I can envision a real romantic evening ending in this song.

A Champion Is Crowned Tonight

Today, April 4, 2011 marks the date of a new college basketball champion. It marks the matchup of Brad Stevens, 34, 1/2 the age of Jim Calhoun, 68. It marks the 2nd straight year of a Cinderella in the National Championship. It marks David vs. Goliath. Tonight we will see the biggest bro in the tournament in Matt Howard, and NYC product Kemba Walker go head-to-head for the game's biggest prize.

The Scouting Report:

Butler: Coached by probably the best young coach in the NCAA's, Brad Stevens has led his Butler Bulldogs back to the National Championship for an unprecedented second straight year. With the talent level that Butler possesses, it is truly an astonishing feat. At this point in his career, Brad Stevens could legitimately get any job in the country that he wants. Doesn't matter if his team is down 20, the guy remains more calm on the sidelines than John Locke on a Xanax & Zoloft cocktail. Butler is led by their 2 stars, Shelvin Mack and Matt Howard. Shelvin Mack is a stud all-around. Guy has averaged 23 ppg in the tournament, and his leadership skills are unmatched. Matt Howard is the heart and soul of the Bulldogs. The Andy Samberg lookalike is absolutely relentless on the boards, and somehow is always coming up with loose balls. He can step out and hit the 3 if you leave him open, and even though he may miss a few putback dunks, you can count on him for a timely bucket. Butler also has the role players that you need to win a championship. Ronald Nored will be the best defender in the game tonight, and will give Kemba Walker a tough tough time. Shawn Vanzant, a senior, has played in this game before, and gives Butler another experienced player that can come up with a timely bucket, as he hit 2 clutch corner three's against VCU. Khyle Marshall and Andrew Smith, respective Freshman and Sophomores, give Butler two players who can bang on the boards, and provide instant energy. Finally, Senior Zach Hahn, the lefty 3 point specialist provides a solid player off of the bench, and is my X-factor for this game. He will hit a few timely 3's throughout the course of the game, and you can thank me after for telling you so.

Uconn: What else is there to say about Uconn at this point? They are undefeated on neutral courts this year, haven't lost a tournament game, whether it be the Maui, Big East, or NCAA's, and have the best player in the tournament in Kemba Walker. Led by Jim Calhoun, who looks like he might have a heart-attack any day now, Uconn is the clear favorite in this game. Calhoun, who is looking for his 3rd NCAA championship, has recently been suspended for the 1st 3 games of the season next year for making illegal phonecalls to potential recruits in the past. Nate Miles, a former Uconn stud and Calhoun recruit recently brought up a story in the NY Times written by Pete Thamel, about how Calhoun and boosters paid him over $200,000 during his tenure @ Uconn. But that's besides the point. Kemba Walker has been the best player in the nation not named Jimmer this season. The guy straight up does it all. His stock cannot be any higher at this point in his career. Jeremy Lamb has been a consistent scorer for Uconn throughout the tournament, and you can tell he is a budding star. He will for sure lead the Big East in scoring in the future. Alex Oriahki has been a force on the boards, and is poised for a double double tonight. Shabazz Napier has done his thing as well, however has thrown up more bricks from 3 point land in this tournament than Dirk Diggler in CYO basketball. Charles Okwandu provides a whole lotta nothing, however he is 7'1 and from Africa, so he might block a few shots here and there. Bottomline, Kemba is going to try and take this game over tonight, and he will put up alot of shots.

Prediction Time:

I see Uconn getting out to an early lead, and the game being very close at halftime. Kemba Walker will be a star in the limelight tonight, however will come up a little short. The tandem of Shelvin Mack and Matt Howard, and the experience of Butler's overall team, will prove to be too much for the Huskies. Butler wins 63-60, as Kemba misses a 3 pointer to send the game to OT.

The X-Factor: The lefty, Zach Hahn.

Now excuse me, I'm off to enjoy the last 7 hours that Duke is still the National Champion.

Happy Birthday Comedy Central

Comedy Central turned turned 20 today, one more year before it can enjoy a beer

True Blood, Curb, Entourage

New season premiere dates have been released (slightly off from my earlier schedule). HBO announced today that "True Blood" will debut on June 26th at 9 P.M., while "Curb Your Enthusiasm" starts on July 10th. Also, the FINAL season of "Entourage" will premiere on July 26th at 10:30.

NBC's "Playboy Club"

According to the New York Post, a nudity clause was added to the contracts of NBC's new show, "The Playboy Club." Insiders say its unheard of for a network show to require its stars to bare all, which will hopefully mean that NBC will release some extended and erotic DVD extras. The exact statement presented to the show's lead actresses was this: "Nudity as defined above and/or simulated sex acts may be required in connection with player's services in the pilot and/or series." Click for more on the show.
