So earlier JohnLocke posted about how Donald Trump had expressed interest in buying the Mets, which sounded fucking awesome. Dude is like a zillionaire and just doesn't take shit from anyone. As much as I hate the Yankees, Steinbrenner just didn't accept losing. I would expect Trump to be the same way. Would of had the Mets winning rings in no time. But in typical Mets fashion just as some exciting news pops up, it gets swatted down. Instead the Wilpons made it clear that they'll maintain majority ownership of the team. So instead of having a zillionaire own the team, we're staying stuck with the bums that have killed the franchise and are now being sued for 1,000,000,000 dollars. Thats a 1 followed by nine zeros. No misprint. 1 billion fucking dollars.
